C. E. Miller Rites Today
SLATON - C. E. (Pete) Miller, 62, who died at 6:35 p.m. Saturday in a Lubbock hospital following a lengthy illness, was the father of Danny Miller of Plainview.
Services were to be today at 2 p.m. in Evangelical Methodist Church here with burial to be in Englewood Cemetery directed by Englunds Funeral Service.
Mr Miller, born in Noble, Okla., had lived in Slaton 60 years.

Carl Edward "Pete" Miller was born in Noble, Oklahoma to Ruben Levi P. Miller and Ardelia Augusta Menges. He & Novella Morrison were married November 18, 1933 at Slaton, Lubbock County,Texas. They had 2 sons, Edward Eugene & Danny Lee Miller.
