A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 1996, in Hustad Funeral Home for Carl Lewis Gilbo, who died Jan. 18 at age 80.
Mr. Gilbo was born July 16, 1915, in Watertown, N.Y. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a machinist for Portland Bolt Manufacturing and retired in 1977. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. In 1940, he married Virginia Albrecht.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Kathleen Farley of Troutdale, Barbara Vietmeier of Lodi, Calif., and Nancy Walton of Portland; son, Theodore of Tualatin; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances to the St. John Lutheran Church building fund. Burial will be in Skyline Cemetery..
