Dorothy Marie "Dode" Kappelman Alloway was born Sept. 19, 1910 in Gregory, Gregory, South Dakota to August and Josie Mary (Hysell) Kappelman.

She married Raymond Ernest Alloway Sr on Dec. 16, 1933 in Lake Andes, Charles Mix, South Dakota. To this union five children were born.

She is survived by her husband, three sons and 2 daughters; Beverly, Ronald, Gene, Mary Jane, Raymond Jr., two sisters, Ila Mae (Anton) Rehak and Twyla Anthony.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; William and Clyle Kappelman.
