Notes for Everett Alloway
Everett Alloway died Wednesday, May 31, 2000 at his home in Wheatland. Everett was born July 22, 1914, in Bonesteel, South Dakota, the son of Lewis and Alda Pearl (Ekleberry) Alloway. He was reared and educated in Winner, South Dakota, and then moved with his family to Wyoming in 1930. Through the years he worked in exploration drilling, as a miner, and general contractor and lived in Colorado; California, Casper, Sunrise and Wheatland, Wyoming. He really never retired. Everett was married, divorced and widowed during his life. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a lifetime member of Moose Lodge #1636. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. Everett is survived by five nephews and two nieces, William Alloway of Cheyenne, Rodney Alloway of Casper, Vicki Jo Cheathan of Casper, Virginia Capron of Greybull, Wyoming, Warren Alloway of Silverthorne, Colorado, Lewis Cornell of Brighton, Colorado, and Ron Alloway of Delta, Utah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Delores Green and Agnes Alloway, and two brothers, Howard Alloway and Eugene Alloway.
Funeral services for Everett L. Alloway, 85, were held Friday, June 2, 2000 at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wheatland, Wyoming with Burke Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Wheatland Cemetery in Wheatland.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Lewis Cornell, Warren Alloway, Ken Moore, Jack Hilderbrand, Tom Palmer and Al Simpson.
