Obituary of Dorothy E. Easley Gerkin Richardson:
Dorothy E. RichardsonDec. 12, 1907 - Dec. 6, 2000PAOLI -- Dorothy E. Richardson, 92, Paoli, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Paoli Convalescent Center in Paoli. Born in Orange County, she was the daughter of Jim and Martha Scott Easley. She married Dee Gerkin and then married Donald Richardson. Both preceded her in death. She was owner/operator of Dot's Dress Shop in Orleans. She was a member of Grace United Methodist in Venice, Fla. Surviving are one son, Richard Gerkin of Phoenix, Ariz., and 14 grandchildren. Preceding her in death were one daughter, Norma Gerkin; one son, Howard Gerkin; and one brother, Howard Easley. Services will be at conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home in Orleans. The Rev. John Enlow will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Orleans. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
