She married Howard R. Jones on March 15, 1942, in Crystal. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2004.She was a homemaker. She attended Huron School and was a member of the West Shoals Church of Christ.Survivors include six sons: Richard H. Jones, Shoals, Larry D. Jones, Bedford, Gary E. Jones, Shoals, R. Steve Jones, Shoals, Randy L. Jones, Williams, John E. Jones, Shoals; five daughters, Janice Johnson, Shoals, Brenda Floyd, Shoals, Sue VanHoy, Loogootee, Karen Braun, Bloomington, and Beth McKibben, Shoals; 33 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one brother, Virgil Gerkin, Shelborn; two sisters, Helen Robinson, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Ilene Gerkin of Bedford.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers and two sisters.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals with Pastor Kris Beasley officiating.
