Marriage Register of Marion Co., IA, Vol. 1, p. 108-109, No. 427. In the 1856 IA State Census, James and Rebecca were living in Pleasant Grove Twp., Marion Co. By 1859 they had moved to Dallas Twp., Marion Co., and owned 40 acres located in the SW 1/4, SE/14 of Twp.74, Range 21 (1860 tax receipt). Pioneer Certificate from Iowa Genealogical Society.
